fieldd for Mobile Oil Change: The Car Is There, the Fleet Is Not
fieldd is the most vehicle-minded rival here, with a $199 Start plan that looks up plates in every US state, keeps a garage of vehicles per customer, books online only inside staffed zones and sends a rating request after each job. For an oil change business the gaps are fleets and stock, which its site does not address, a route optimizer unlocked in its Toolkit for a fee it does not publish, and silence on working without signal.
61.5 / 100, number 3 of 6. Mobile Service Sync, in first place, scores 100.0. Best for: A crew of several techs who book by zone and want ten users on the first plan.
fieldd on an Oil Change Route
fieldd starts in the right place. A plate lookup works in all US states, each customer gets a vehicle garage, the Team App runs on iPhone and Android on Start, and online booking offers only the zones you have staffed, with shop and mobile zones set apart.
The route is a separate purchase. fieldd's optimizer does reorder stops, but it is unlocked in the Toolkit and the unlock fee is not published. Nothing on fieldd's site says what the Team App does when the signal goes.
On the business side of an oil change van, fieldd goes quiet. Its pricing page states no payment terms, PO rule or account pricing for fleets, and no stock tracking. Two-way texting from the dashboard and a rating request after every job are included.
Start is $199 a month with ten users, month to month, which suits a crew better than an owner who runs the only van.

What an Oil Change Van Gets Instead
Mobile Service Sync matches fieldd on the vehicle and adds the rest of an oil change day from $49: stops ordered in one click with nothing to unlock, a phone app that finishes jobs offline, per-van stock taken off as each job closes, and fleet accounts with their own prices, PO rules and net terms.
Mobile Service Sync keeps its own side-by-side page against this product: Mobile Service Sync compared with fieldd.
