Before the Van Leaves
The day begins as a route. Jobs are assigned to a tech, and one click puts that tech's stops in order on real drive times; with a second van, its tech's day gets its own click. The bookings that filled the day were already held to your hours, your service area and the number of techs and vans working.
At the Car
Each job opens on the vehicle. A plate or VIN fills in the year, make, model, trim and engine, and once the first oil change is done the oil weight and capacity are saved on that vehicle, so the next one starts with them. The software does not pull fluid specs from the plate or VIN; the tech enters them the first time.
Payment happens before the van moves. Cards are processed through Rainforest at 2.9% + $0.30 on standard cards (AmEx, business and international cards carry a small published surcharge), and bank payments by ACH cost $0.20 flat per transaction.
When the Signal Drops
Underground garages and rural roads do not stop the job. With no signal, the app still records job status, inspections with photos, completion, line items, cash and check payments and the time clock, and syncs all of it when the phone reconnects. A card payment or a text needs a connection.
The Shelf in the Van
Stock is counted per van and per shop, and a job takes its oil and filter off that van's count when it closes. The number on the screen at the end of the day is what is actually on the shelf.
Fleets, Texts and Reviews
A fleet account carries its own pricing, its PO rule and net 15 or net 30 terms on every plan. Growth and Pro add the fleet portal, and Pro adds the fleet sales pipeline.
Two-way texting with photos is included: 1,000 texts a month on Core, 5,000 on Growth and 10,000 on Pro. After every job a Google or Facebook review request goes out by itself, on every plan.
